Bharatpur Metropolitan Municipality is going to conduct skill-based training in 18 different categories with the aim of connecting self-employment and employment opportunities through skill development. In accordance with the approved program of the financial year 2083/084, the Metropolitan Corporation is going to conduct training in various fields under the 'Employment and Cooperative Promotion' program with the aim of capacity development and employment enhancement.
In the notice issued by the city executive office of the metropolitan city, it is mentioned that the training is going to be conducted with the intention of developing capacity for self-employment and increasing employment. According to the information, metropolitan residents who are interested in acquiring skills in various professional and technical fields can apply. Through the training, it is expected that the participants will be provided practical skills necessary for employment and will be helped to join their own business or self-employment.
The training to be conducted by the Metropolitan Corporation includes Barista, Barber, AI and Digital Marketing, Basic Accounting, Monteshwari, Basic Cook, Bakery and Pastry Training, Boutique and Care Giver. Similarly, nail art, mason, plumbing training, building electrician, EV vehicle and automobile repair, CCTV camera installation and repair, building painting, refrigerator and AC repair and hand embroidery have also been included in the training.
Looking at the subjects of training, it seems that the Metropolitan Municipality has given priority to the technical and digital sectors, which have been increasing in demand recently, along with the traditional employment sectors. From technology-related skills like AI and digital marketing to technical skills like EV vehicle and automobile repair, CCTV camera installation and repair, building electrician, plumbing and refrigerator and AC repair, the training is covered. According to the notification, permanent residents of Bharatpur Metropolitan City can apply for training. The interested person should submit the application clearly stating the field in which he wants to be trained. According to the Metropolitan Municipality, a copy of Nepali citizenship and an application with the area where you want to receive training are required for the application. The person who is interested in submitting the application can submit the application to the ward office where he/she has permanent residence by attaching the necessary documents. In addition to this, the Metropolitan Municipality has also arranged to submit the application through the Google Form provided in the notification. In the notification, Google Form can be used for online application. It has been arranged that the form can also be filled by scanning the QR Code placed in the notification for application.
