Korea Nepal Polytechnic Institute (KNPI), Butwal, under the Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), is going to conduct free skill training in seven subjects. The school is going to conduct training for a total of 140 people according to the approved annual program for the financial year 2083/084. According to the school, 20/20 trainees will be selected for each subject.
According to the academy, training will be conducted on Light Vehicle Mechanic, Computer Hardware Technician, Solar Electrician Technician, Refrigeration and AC Junior Mechanic, Arc Welder, Assistant Beautician and Indian Cook. At the rate of 20 people in each subject, a total of 140 people will get free training in seven subjects. The duration of all the training is 390 hours and the minimum educational qualification for participating in the training is to be able to read and write.
Eligible Nepali citizens who are interested in participating in the training should fill the application form at Korea Nepal Polytechnic School, Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City-12, Tamnagar, Rupandehi within office hours on 31 August 2083. The notice does not mention the provision of online application. Therefore, the interested person has to go to the school and get the application form and fill the necessary details and submit it. It is mentioned in the notification of the school that the training is completely free.
One copy of Nepali citizenship certificate and two recent passport size photographs should be attached with the application form. The person who is going to apply can prepare the necessary documents and photographs in advance. The educational institution has fixed the date of interview differently according to the training. Interview of applicants for Light Vehicle Mechanic, Computer Hardware Technician, Solar Electrician Technician, Refrigeration and AC Junior Mechanic and Arc Welder training will be held on 16th October 2083 at 11 am. Similarly, the interview of applicants for Assistant Beautician and Indian Cook training will be held on 17 October 2083 at 11 am. It is mentioned in the notice that the interview on both days will be conducted at the Korea Nepal Multi-Technical School.
After the selection process, the results are scheduled to be published on October 26, 2083. It is said that the inauguration and operation of the training for the selected trainees will be held on 7th November 2083 from 11 am at Korea Nepal Polytechnic School, Butwal-12, Tamnagar.
