Kathmandu, 11 August. The Chinese ambassador to Nepal, Zhang Maoming, has stated that after the catastrophic flood, China, the northern neighbor, stands with Nepal. Mentioning that he was deeply saddened by the devastating natural disaster that hit the Gyirong-Rasuwagadhi border area, Chinese Ambassador Maoming also reminded that this disaster has caused a huge loss of human resources to both China and Nepal, and has pledged that there will be no reduction in assistance to Nepal.
"Although the Chinese side has also suffered heavy losses, China has immediately arranged emergency material and cash support for Nepal and will make every effort to provide additional support," Maoming said in X. "I believe that hand in hand we will overcome these difficulties and rebuild our beautiful homes."
