Government giving free training from cook, tailor, warista to care giver, lunch allowance is also given.

Vocational Training Center Itahari under the National Vocational Training Institute is going to conduct seven types of skill training free of charge. The Center has issued a public notice calling upon eligible and interested Nepali citizens to apply by 2nd August 2083. According to the center, training will be conducted for tailors, cooks, assistant beauticians, advanced tailors, building electricians, baristas and care givers. It is said that a total of 140 trainees will be selected at the rate of 20 in each category.

Advanced cut-sewing training will be 33 working days i.e. 195 hours. The remaining six trainings will be conducted for 390 hours in 65 working days. It is mentioned in the notification that the training will run for 6 hours per day and classes can be conducted even on public holidays except Saturdays. Applicants for Basic Cut-Stitch, Cook and Assistant Beautician should have passed Class 8 at least. For advanced cutting and sewing, a certificate of basic training from a recognized institution will also be required along with passing class 8.

To participate in the Building Electrician, Warista and Care Giver training, the qualification is prescribed as having passed SLC, SEE or similar. The age of the applicant should be 18 years and not more than 45 years. According to the center, the selection of trainees will be done through interviews. The date of interview for some subjects is mentioned in the notification, while the interview date for Barista and Care Giver will be decided later. If the selected person does not attend within three days of the commencement of the training, an alternate candidate will be given an opportunity.

Along with the application, a copy of Nepali citizenship, two passport size photographs and educational qualification certificate must be submitted. Applicants for advanced cutting and sewing must also submit a certificate of basic training. Lunch allowance of Rs 50 per day will be provided to the trainees throughout the training period. Accommodation and food will be arranged by the participants themselves. The center has said that it will give preference to applicants from economically and socially backward communities. It is mentioned in the notification that preference will be given to the poor, Dalits, disabled people, martyrs' families, people's movement injured and martyrs' families, single women and people from backward areas.
