The recent public issue (IPO) of Appologen Hydropower Limited and Sopan Pharmaceuticals Limited have been deposited in the beneficiary accounts (demats) of the investors. Along with this, the process of listing the shares of these two companies in the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has been expedited. With the listing on NEPSE, the general public who have invested in the shares of these companies can start trading. After the listing process is completed, the shares will be open for buying and selling from the next day.
NEPSE will determine the price limit (opening range) for the first transaction of Appologent Hydropower Limited from a minimum of 100 rupees to a maximum of 300 rupees per share. Similarly, in the case of Sopan Pharmaceuticals Limited, the price limit for the first transaction will be fixed from a minimum of Rs.92 to a maximum of Rs.276. This price range is expected to reflect the market's initial reaction and the company's valuation.
While new investment opportunities have been added to the capital market with this IPO issue, both companies are expected to use the capital obtained from it for project expansion and strengthening. Investors can now trade in shares of these companies and reap the returns on their investments.
