The 'Udyamsheel' program run under the Industrial Business Development Foundation has opened applications for the free business incubation program called 'UdyamStart (First Batch)' for new entrepreneurs. This program, which is being conducted in accordance with the 'Business Promotion Service Operation and Management Procedure, 2082', aims to help new entrepreneurs and early stage businessmen to transform their business concepts into practical, investable and sustainable businesses.
Those who participate in this program will get business plan development, expert guidance (mentorship), market and financial preparation assistance and also get an opportunity to present their plans to investors and banks through 'Demo Day'. Interested entrepreneurs have to apply by Baisakh 12th and only 40 startups will be selected for the program. For the application, Nepali citizenship certificate, detailed business plan, self-declaration of compliance, copy of permanent account number (PAN) and if the organization is registered, it must be attached. Selected applications will be contacted for screening and interview. Further information can be obtained from the procedures available on the website of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply.
