Mukesh Ambani did not take salary for the sixth year in a row

Mumbai, 15th June. Mukesh Ambani has not taken any salary from his company, Reliance Industries Limited, for the sixth year in a row.   According to the company's annual report, Mukesh Ambani's salary, allowances, allowances and retirement benefits remain zero even in the financial year 2025-26. Currently, his main source of income is only the dividend from the company.   In June 2020, 69-year-old Mukesh Ambani decided to give up his entire salary due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the social, economic and industrial health of the country. As he promised he would not take any salary until all Reliance businesses return to full earning capacity, he did not take salary.  Since then, he has been working without pay.

  Mukesh Ambani receives no salary, allowances or stock options as chairman and managing director, but company dividends are the primary source of income for the world's 22nd richest man. Mukesh Ambani's personal net worth is currently estimated to be around US$8.83 trillion.    Reliance Industries has declared a dividend of INR 6 per share for the financial year 2025-26. Mukesh Ambani personally owns 16.1 million shares of Reliance, due to which he has earned a personal dividend of 9.66 million.

  In addition, the promoter group companies under his control hold 66.44 million shares or 50.07 shares of Reliance, which has generated a dividend income of INR 3,987 million for the promoter group. This total amount is equal to 3,996,660,000 Indian Rupees.
