Kathmandu, 17th June. There has been an extraordinary increase in the price of gold in the Nepalese market on Sunday. Compared to the previous trading day, the price of gold has increased by Rs 20,500 per tola and has reached Rs 3,11,000. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders, the gold that was traded at 290,600 rupees per tola on Friday is being bought and sold at 311,000 rupees on Sunday. Earlier, the price of gold had increased by Rs 5,600 per tola only on Friday.

The price of silver has also gone up. Silver traded at Rs 5,040 per tola on Friday and reached Rs 5,345 on Sunday. This is Rs 305 per tola more than the previous day. Businessmen say that when the price of gold is high in the international market, its effect is also seen in the Nepali market. Gold is trading at 4,540 US dollars per ounce in the international market on Sunday. Gold has reached a new high with the direct impact of the rising prices in the world market on the domestic market.
