Harkaraj Rai of the House of Representatives resigned

President Ramchandra Paudel has relieved the Secretary of the House of Representatives, Harkaraj Rai. President Paudel removed Rai from the post based on the recommendation of Speaker Dolprasad Aryal. In a statement released on Tuesday by the spokesperson of the President's Office, Ritesh Kumar Shakya, it was informed that Rai has been relieved of his post. According to the statement, Speaker Aryal had recommended Rai's dismissal on May 28. According to the same recommendation, President Paudel relieved Rai from his post in accordance with clause (e) of Section 6 of the Act, 2075 on Remuneration, Service Conditions and Facilities of the Secretary General of the Federal Parliament, the Secretary of the House of Representatives and the Secretary of the National Assembly.
