Government's 3 months free startup training, how to apply?

ICT Foundation Nepal (IFN) in collaboration with the Industrial Enterprise Development Institute (IEDI) under the Government of Nepal is going to conduct "Digital and IT-Enabled Startup Incubation Program 2026". Through this program brought with the aim of promoting entrepreneurship in the country, more than 50 early-stage tech startups will be targeted for three months of special training and guidance. The program will be conducted with a focus on startups from Kathmandu Valley of Bagmati Province and Itahari Region of Koshi Province.

The incubation program, which will run from March to June 2026, will be based on a hybrid model, under which participants will have learning opportunities through both live and virtual modes. Participating startups in the program will receive one-to-one mentorship from experienced industry experts, capacity building training, business development and validation support, as well as investment preparation training. It is believed to help startups refine their business models, expand markets and connect with investors.

Another important aspect of the program is to promote regional entrepreneurship. According to the organizers, the aim is to expand the opportunities outside Kathmandu, especially to include entrepreneurs from areas with less opportunities. This is expected to strengthen the innovation ecosystem across the country. Startups that perform well in the program will also receive seed investment opportunities. They will also be given the opportunity to participate in national level platforms like ICT Awards, Startup and Idea Fest, National Conclave and AI Conference. Even before this, ICT Foundation Nepal has been contributing to regional innovation through programs like Digital Karnali Conclave and Digital Madhesh Conclave.

Startups interested in participating in the program can apply for free. The last date for registration of applications is 20 April 2026 (7th April 2083) till 11:59 PM. Interested applicants have to submit their personal details, project information and required documents through the prescribed online form.
