Council of Ministers meeting to approve the budget

Kathmandu, 15 June. The government is releasing the annual budget for the financial year 2083/84 today.   Before presenting the budget, the Council of Ministers will meet at 2:30 pm today to approve it.  The Cabinet meeting held at the Singha Darbar will finalize the budget statement and approve it.   After being approved by the Council of Ministers, Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle is scheduled to present the estimated income-expenditure statement (budget) for the next financial year in the joint house of the Federal Parliament at 4:00 pm. This is the first budget that the National Independent Party is going to bring. 

  According to the constitutional provisions, there is a provision that the government should publish the budget for the new financial year on the 15th of June.
