170 million help from the metropolis to the teaching hospital to facilitate OPD services

Kathmandu, 22 June. Kathmandu Metropolitan City has handed over modern equipment and information technology system worth about 17 million rupees to make the OPD services of Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (Teaching Hospital) Maharajganj more technology friendly. Acting Chief Sunita Dangol, Executive Director of the hospital Prof. Dr. She handed over 16 interactive kiosk machines and 65 'all-in-one' computers to Subhas Acharya.
Through this device, patients can easily get information about fee payment, report printing and treatment. Also, health record management has been made more efficient by expanding the hospital's server and RAM capacity. Acting Chief Dangol said that the goal is to provide fast, convenient and transparent services to citizens through digital health services. Acharya, the executive director of the hospital, said that this support would improve OPD management and help make cancer treatment services 'paperless' and 'faceless' in the future. The metropolis had previously provided various health equipment for controlling Covid-19.
