Kathmandu Metropolitan City has given an ultimatum to Gitendra Babu Rai, Chairman of Gorkha Media Network Pvt. Ltd. to pay the rent within 15 days. The Municipal Corporation has issued this notification during the implementation of the decision of the Judicial Committee in the case of vacating the house after collection of rent. In the case registered by the plaintiff Mrigendra Prasad Mishra, the judicial committee had ordered to vacate the house after collecting the amount and tax of the house as claimed by Mishra. This decision was issued by the Patan High Court on 28th July 2082 to be implemented within two months. According to the same mandate, the Metropolitan Corporation has appointed a team on 14th October 2082 and has implemented the decision.
Six months after the execution of the decision, the plaintiff Mrigendra Mishra filed a petition with the Metropolitan Corporation on 21 Baisakh, 2083, demanding to auction the goods in the Galaxy 4K. Based on the same petition, the Municipal Corporation has given a last chance to the concerned parties by publishing a public notice. As mentioned in the notice, they have been asked to pay the amount within 15 days and take their belongings. If the goods are not taken within the specified time, a warning has also been given that the goods will be auctioned according to Section 70 of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City Dispute Resolution (Procedure) Act, 2075.
